Shari Arison initiated Good Deeds Day to realize the simple idea that everyone can do something good for the benefit of others. The popularity of Good Deeds Day has grown to become an international tradition. In 2012, more than 250,000 people from all walks of life participated in Israel, with hundreds of thousands more worldwide all spreading goodness together.
A special interview with Shari Arison, the initiator of Good Deeds Day, marking its 20th anniversary
This year, Good Deeds Day mobilized over 2.5 million people who took part in hundreds of volunteering projects to grow the circles of good in the world.
“Unity is in our hearts, and today everyone knowns how important it is in our country,” said Shari Arison, initiator of Good Deeds Day, who joined scores of volunteers visiting with evacuees, among the numerous projects of good involving millions of people nationwide.
