Salt of the Earth won top prize at the world's leading food SIAL (Salon International de l'alimentation). It was honored for three of its innovative products:

  • WonderSalt, low-sodium sea salt, naturally colored with fruit and vegetable extracts, specially packaged to help children control sodium intake.
  • Umami-Essence Sea Salt, pure Red Sea salt combined with salt derived from tomato extract, reducing sodium intake while boosting flavor via umami (the “fifth taste” after salt, sweet, sour and bitter).
  • Salt ‘N Easy, a variety of seasoned sea salts roasting mixes.

By producing salt in a natural process of sea water vaporization, Salt of the Earth maintains sustainable values-based processes, and preserves its harvesting areas in Atlit and Eilat as natural reserves.
